Ozone low-temperature oxidative denitrification technology

Introduction

Ozone low-temperature oxidative denitrification technology utilizes the strong oxidation of ozone to oxidize the insoluble NO and NO2 in flue gas into highly soluble N2O5 firstly, and the NOx is further removed in the absorption tower.

Main reactions are

  • Gas phase reaction: NO/NO2 + O3 → N2O5
  • Liquid/Gas phase reaction: N2O5 + H2O → H++NO3-
  • Liquid phase reaction: H++OH- → H2O

Advantages

  1. Advanced denitrification technology with high efficiency and accurate emitted concentration control. ( emitted NOx less than 10 ppm)
  2. Automated ozone concentration injection control based on NOx concentration in flue gas accordingly.
  3. No interference of boiler operation or efficiency during denitrification process.
  4. Possible combination with wet desulfurization process as absorption process to reduce investment cost.
  5. Easy to operate and low maintenance cost.
  6. Small footprint and modular design for flexible adoption.

Application

  1. Flue gas of any industries.
